All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
No offense to McGahee, but I think the A-Train should've been in that 4th & 1 as opposed to McGahee. I know that he's the #1 but it looks to me he can't get a yard.Pretty sad. Was he hurt? Why did they bench him after that TD run? Crazy I tell you! Stop underutilizing guys that can play!!!
Lay off the coke! He's the same size as McGahee... and while I agree that he outplayed McGahee yesterday... you still put in your starting RB in that situation.

Can anyone explain to me that?
I think MaGahee had a little ankle tweek. But I have to admit that the A-train looked good.

I don't smoke or drink fyi! I didn't say for him to play every down. A-Train is more a bruiser back than McGahee. More suitable for getting that dirty 4th down. McGahee is a finesse runner.
My point is that A-Train isnt the same back you are thinking of. He's lost about 25 lbs since his days in Chicago. I think he and McGahee weight about the same, which is why A-Train looked so fast yesterday.
what, rb controversy after one game? Don't think so. Willis is our no.1 . You live and die with him when it comes to the running game. I don't want to make the same mistakes last year by taking out your no. 1 back . You don't send him the wrong message by taking away his vote of confidence.

Why? doesnt he have to earn the job each week like everyone else? And don't you go with the guy playing the best? The poster has a legit gripe

No offense taken, and glad you are not the head coach... He was benched after the TD run because he is second string.
It appeared to me that his knee may have been down before he reached the first down but the spot was definitely crap, at least a foot from where he did get to.
Oh okay. So let's bench our no. 1 qb too if he screws up on one play. Oh wait, he did in that safety play. HOLCOMANIA baby!
While I don't think Willis should be benched, or that the RB status should change, Willis does tend to dance more while looking for an opening, while the A-train tends to just shoot right in. He may therefore be better suited for obtaining short yardage...
