safe bet there is the middle, 10. I think it could go to 11 or 12 if TKO can stay on the field.

But happiness turned to despair when Spikes injured his right hamstring on the second defensive series. He wouldn't play again.

If they continue playing with the same effort they played yesterday, they'll win more games than people expected them to win. Of course, they'll need to stop letting backs have big games against their defense

in the same vain the way the media looks at this team I expect them to only be favored in 4 games this year so dint go by what the nedia says either

I was very much encouraged by yesterdays game but I still say that this team wins 6-7 games max. There are going to be some weeks that are just ugly for this team. JP will make mistakes as he continues on his learning curve. The front 7 on defense has shown throughout last year AND yesterday that they cannot stuff the run and as a result that says to me that they cannot pull a game out individually.
This rebuilding is going to take time.. worst to first is a possibility in todays NFL but we do not have the components necessary for such a turn around in such a short time.. be patient

You guys are dreaming if you think this team wins 10+ games.

We fought hard but in the 2nd half when it mattered Belichek made Jauron and our coaches look like morons.

Let's not get too carried away. We have to get better against the run. We have to learn to adjust when the other team adjusts. 6-7 wins is doable. I keep hope alive for more.

you know, granted i know we have really low expectations, i dont know why everyone is discounting the jets as a guaranteed win....

hell we had tennesee in a stranglehold, til the defense decided to play soft in the 4th and we had an OL go out for the rest of the game
                          .
the same could be said for detroit, especially at detroit..... did ya not see the seattle game? i think shaun alexander is a tad bit better than willis, and i know seattle's d is a bit better than new englands at this juncture.

there is a lot of time left in the season, and sadly i dont think 1 game is good enough for any team to gauge this year yet.

i can see the dolphins, jets and bills going anywhere from 6-10 to 10-6 depending on injuries etc.

patriots on the other hand are the enigma.... then again, they have refs in their pocket

Disagree. Unless we're going to rehash that 4th and 1 call again, I think it was more a matter of our D-lines and O-lines wearing down. we couldnt run or stop the run in the second half after that first drive. Can't really blame that all on playcalling.
