It looks like a pair of former Bills that were released and/or traded for a couple of water bottles many here deemed washed-up didnt look quite ready for retirement in opening week.

Eric Moulds caught 6 passes for 68 yards, including a 25-yard touchdown for the Houston Texans. Lawyer Milloy recorded five tackles for Atlanta, including a huge stop for no-gain on a third-and-two play in the Falcon's upset win over Carolina.

Prioleau also got hurt on the kickoff in the Redskins game.

Did you want to pay Moulds 10 million this year?

Are you not happy with Whitner?

Travares Tillman played for Miami.

If we had someone to get him the Ball. Maybe. I say maybe because Moulds still counts 5 million against the cap. How much did it cost the Bills to replace Moulds? $5 million? Its a wash.

Moulds is better off in Houston. He should get over 70 grabs there. Here in Buffalo we will be lucky to have a WR get over 50.

They say a change does a player good. Moulds and co. have benefited from a change of scenary.

He would have had 80 if he stayed in Buffalo.

I still can't believe the Pats got a 1st rounder for Branch and we could only manage a 4th rounder for Moulds....Something is wrong here. Branch has done nothing, except for 1 SB game.

Branch is young and Moulds is old. What can't you believe?

The Bills ended up with Kyle Williams for Moulds.

That is quite a bit more than a 'couple of water bottles '.

Who would of thought the Bills top WRs this year would be

Reed: 3 (on pace for 48)
Price: 3 (on pace for 48)
Evans 2 (on pace for 32)

Evans needs to step it up now that Moulds is gone.

They should have huge games next week against Miamis weak secondary.

Evans will have 80 for 1200
Reed will have 60 for 850
Price will have 57 for 943

lol!

An 'on pace for' post after one game.

The Ravens defense is on to give up no points this season.

I bet it happens.

I don't believe that Evans will end up with 32 Rec. He'll have around 50 to 60.

yeah, not ideal, but let's not forget that 7 different receivers caught balls. You'd like more from your top 3, but it's also a good sign that we can spread the ball around.

I'll bet you whatever zonebucks I have left at the end of the season that Evans will not have 80 Rec and 1200 yards.

this is why I wasn't sold on Moulds being done. Too bad he didn't want to be here but he's definitely done like some people here thought. With that being said, I am not sad to see him go either.

Ok cool, I plan on having alot of Zonbucks by the end of the season. I've been placing bets with Fat Tony. So either Im gonna be rich and win alot more from you. Or im gonna be broke and you won't win much from me . :)

The problem with those players was not single games but at end of year not having enough gas. Moulds has a much more experienced QB throwing to him now too.

First of all...........at no point of my statement in this thread did I suggest that Moulds or Milloy should've stayed in Buffalo (though i woulda liked to have kept Moulds)........Nor did I compare Milloy to Whitner or Price/reed to Moulds in terms of stats or anything else.

My POINT was the consensus on this board is that these guys were washed up... Week one is the first indicator that it's not the case at all.
And if yer gonna clown around and throw names out there like Prioleau and Tillman, may as well go on to say that Travis Henry scored a pair of TD's for the Titans on Sunday as well... and that Bennie Anderson actually did a decent job for Miami.

Depends if I have 16k at end of season and I win the bet. If I lose and have 16k then you win 16k.

BTW, here were Miami's WR stats:

Mike Mularkey had succes in this game throwing the ball and scoring in the redzone. But I'm sure you'll disagree.

Moulds has one decent game and we gotta go through this routine now. 68 yards isn't blowing the league away.

Moulds will lead the league in yards and TD's. Place your bet now.
