Michael Huff - 2 T, 1 AT

The Texans look like COMPLETE jackasses for passing on Bush.

As bad as the Bills are, I'm glad we're not them.

I think Leinart looked the best out of all of them, to be honest.

Donte definitely played like a first round pick.

if whitners INT went for a TD like it should have, he is all the media would be talking about right now.

I think I heard D'brick allowed two sacks.

Did Stugatz Salisbury say he might have been wrong for ripping into Marv for picking Whitner in his weekly idiotic blabbing like he did after the draft?

Or did he just suck up to every team that won and rip apart every team that lost like he usually does?

F him, Deion Sanders, Irvin, and that creep Simms.

I thought he also had a penalty.

I don't know, I think Vince Young might lead Whitner in the INT department this year... He's got bust written all over him...

And reach too...

I doubt that - it would take away from the Patriots praising time, and they certainly won't chastize themselves after calling Marv's first selection a reach...

He certainly outperformed Mr. Huff - and it wasn't for lack of playing time for Huff either - Huff was probably on the field 3/4ths of the time the Raiders D was out there - and that was a lot of time.

Hell, the guy did better than a Linebacker - who should have better stats because of his position - at least as far as tackles go - and we know it wasn't because of a shortage of playing time for him either - I don't thing Green bay went more than 3 and out in that game more than but 3 times.

I thought he also had a penalty.

Copied from NFL.com:
(14:29) C.Pennington pass short right to J.Cotchery for 2 yards, TOUCHDOWN NULLIFIED by Penalty. PENALTY on NYJ-D.Ferguson, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at TEN 2 - No Play.

D'Brick's penalty cost them a TD, and Nugent missed the FG. Sacks were by Vanden Bosh and some CB-Finnigan.

Funny how you forgot about Ngata, a player that the Bills passed on. He had a TD and stopped the run pretty well.

McCargo who?!

Texans are *****ed, losing Davis is going to kill them, having Bush in the wings could've saved their season.

What really impressed me with Whitner on Sunday is when he went head to head with Dillion and knocked him on his ass. It was a tough, collision but he didn't budge at all.

Michael Huff - 2 T, 1 AT

You would think that when your defense is on the field the whole game you get some better numbers!

Must be nice...Jason Allen doesnt even start and has looked putrid in the preseason....I love Saban but I think he had a brain fart with this guy..

I think Donte held up his own with the rest of the top 10.

And then some. Marv may be old, but he still knows a football player when he sees one. Actually, Simpson, Ellison and Williams also had numbers comparable to - or better than - the defensive 1st rounders on your list.

Michael Huff - 2 T, 1 AT

Exactly what I was saying.

Huff looks like the bust, and Whitner the non-reach/steal if he's not ruled out of bounds by the crooked refs.
