All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

He said on GR that he could come back and play in 4-6 weeks. But he also said, not for the Bills. I think he will be released. I tell you what though, they interviewed him on GR and said it was a good move and that he had discussed it with management before they did it. The guy seems like pure class.
I think it sounds like a win win solution right from the outset. This may be the only way TV really gets a shot at playing again this season. It obviously was too hard a decision to cut TV but he doesn't really fit that well with our defense and he's getting older. If he rehabs it's may be tough for him to break our lineup unless these kids fail completely...and the coaching staff must think they are not going to fail. It's just too hard to have him here and not be playing. So do the guy a favor...reach a decent injury settlement with him and he's got some $$ on his contract...and then he can seek out a place to play some real football before he is too old to play at all.
If a team picks him up off of waivers, they would be obliged to pay his $2.6M salary. If he clears waivers, he becomes a free agent and can negotiate a contract with any team.
That being said... I can't see any team claiming him and his salary.

I thought the injury settlement worked differently. Essentially we are buying out a portion of his contract and releasing him if we reach an injury settlement. I wish someone who knew more about this would chime in.

This is where we need Clumpy. Do we have any Salary Cap hangover next year?! Was this the last year of his contract. I thought that once you made the 53 man roster and started that your salary was guaranteed?!

I heard that he is signed through 2009 at $3 mil. per.
