    McGahee, take the diapers off.

So, as Dick Vermeil once said to his young runner, "take the diapers off." There are no more excuses for Willis McGahee.

Our Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code 'USBETCZR' offers all new players at Caesars Sportsbook online sportsbook and mobile app up to $1,100 as first-bet insurance.

I have to say that I agree. If McGahee makes the first down we win the game. I love how the media is blaming JP for the loss. Obviously, if you didn't watch the game it's easy to conclude that we lost by 2 and Losman got a safety. However, if McGahee get's the first and we punch the ball in, it's a 3 possession game that's out of reach for NE. Let's not kid ourselves.

So now we would of made a Touchdown if McGahee would of made the 1st down? Who says? How do you know if the Bills made a 1st down that JP wouldn't of threw a INt or fumbled the next play or McGahee fumble the next play? Considering the Bills Offense only produced 1 Touchdown for the whole game, I find it hard to believe they would of scored a touchdown there even if they made the first.

The right thing to do would of been to kick the field goal and not change the momentum of the game.

I guess when your hero is one the main reasons we lost the game, you have to look to put the blame somewhere else.

I wholeheartedly agree, after watching the game again last night it was clear McGahee should have gotten the first. Wilfork did blow Fowler back but Willis had room to the right. All he had to do was put his head down and run up Villy and Peters asses, instead he got happy feet and waited for a hole. When the hole isn't big he just dances, you have to hit the hole no matter how small. See my post on this subject from another thread below. I saw a superior back in Maroney on Sunday. Sorry folks but that is the truth.

Going for it on 4th and 1 was the right call. You're in the minority and I have yet to hear a football person say that it was the wrong call. Matter-of-fact the media even agreed with the call. JP gave up 2 points for sure but he didn't lose us the game. There's plenty of blame to go around including Roscoe Parish for putting us in that position to begin with.

JP was NOT one of the main reasons for our loss. I would rank failure to run, and stop the run, as the main reason, followed by questionable officiating, and questionable playcalling. JP played quite well.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I'm 50/50 on whether it was the right call. At first, I was thinking about 2003 when GW punted from Pats' territory rather than go for it on 4th and 1 and basically lost the season.

On the other hand, that play was so obviously the turning point in the game. It was on the Bills' opening possession of the 2nd half, and they took over 5 minutes off the clock. They had a 17- 7 lead. They get stuffed on the 4th and 1, and it was ALL Patriots after that. The game completely turned on that one play.

Either way, the point in this post is that McGahee could have gotten the first down if he had just exploded forward instead of dancing. He screwed up.

I will love him when I see more of a commitment. You crack me up. You bag on a hard working, mega successful athlete like Tiger Woods but continue to laud an athlete that doesn't seem to give two craps and has had moderate success. Perhaps this attitude is why you are always crying about not having any money. Hard work pays.

                  This post is moron.

                  1. Tiger's success isn't what I "bag on" him about. But again, you jump to conclusions.

                  2. It's not like Willis threw for 4,000 yds and didn't make the playoffs. Who cares about his personality. He's still a work horse, and he tried to make the 1st down. That's what MATTERS. I could see if he didn't even try, but you guys won't let up on him over ONE play in ONE game.

JP was the main reason the Bills lost the game because he is the leader of the offense that only produced 1 FG and 1 TD in the first 20 minutes of the game. With 11:34 remaining in the 2nd Qtr., the Bills the rest of the game had 7 drives , 6 of them 6 plays or less, 1 ending on TOD, 1 ending on a Safety and the other 5 ending with punts. JP himself had 3 Sacks in those drives that killed 3 of them.

You know what I find funny, JP Losman the play before the 4th down completed a pass for 7 yards on 3rd and 8. Didn't Holcomb get ripped last year for completing a pass short of a first down last year against NE I think it was?

The Media also says the Bills will be picking Brady Quinn with the 1st pick next year, are they right there also? Or are they only right when it fits your arguement.

I think the defenses inability to get off the field is what lost the game, the spot of the ball on that play was off on that play in my opinion, that is one of the few plays I have seen when they dont put the ball where the player falls after his knee hits the ground.

Anyway the offense lost its rythmn because the defense couldnt get off the field for the next 13 some minutes and thats what lost the game not Willis or JP

Are you really this thick in every aspect of your life? All of this is not over one carry. I hope to God that Willis finds some fire, because when he does, look out league, until then........

He could have made that first down and he didn't, and that play was the turning point of the game. Just like any other player, he deserves all the criticism he's getting. Remember Yoda: "Do, or do not. There is no try".

Anyway, the play is the symptom and not the problem. If Willis is such a workhorse, why was he partying with his buddies in Miami instead of learning Fairchild's offense? I think Willis has a lot of talent but his commitment could use some work.

I am not in anyway placing blame on Mcgahee for the loss, I just want to see more north-south from him. We lost the game as you almost always do, by being beaten soundly at the LOS in the second half.
