New Orleans today released former 1st round pick DE Michael Haynes

Personally I wouldnt mind brining him in, he could provide great depth and with what happened last year with Courtney Brown and Gerard Warren, maybe he just needs to get motivated again. He's a PSU alum and was a beast there, so why not bring him in.

He was sick at Penn State. I saw him play for PSU when I went to the Capital One Bowl.

obviously a change of scenery wasnt what he needed.. he lasted all of what, a week, at new orleans?

he has been cut twice this month. i would imagine that says something about the guy.

If he's not a motivated, high motor guy who works his butt off, he's not going to make it here. Why cut someone who HAS worked his butt off to make this team, in order to accommodate a lazy slug?
