Ok, I just got to see the video feed.

I can tolerate the home/blue jersey, but that white/away jersey isn't so hot. I think they dropped the ball on the back of the jersey. Instead of having a white jersey with blue letters, I think the number & name on back should have the blue & gold coloring, as well.

They look really well how can I say this:question: old! :laughing: JD if you see them up close like at the it looks like they've been in a box for 11 years the last time we saw these was in the 94-95 season before we moved to the HSBC Arena in 1996 they just don't compare to the new jerseys.

I would estimate about around 10,000-11,000 people showed up today and the new jerseys were like gone in :15 minutes tops.

It's that the factory that the NHL deals with couldnt make the shorts in the short ammount of time they were given.

the fact is, there are always gonna be a Majoprity and a Minority, and unfortunately the Majority of the people caved in on the logo issue...

I Like the Home Jerseys, but hte Whites ones just dont look right...

BTW, the New Blue and Gold Jerseys are a Varied Copy from an older AHL Jersey, Bet you cant guess which one :) hint thinky Military, Think Virginia, ..... think ECHL to AHL...

"Cravotta said the Sabres evaluated about 80 logo designs before settling on one. Then there were about 12 revisions before it was finalized.

As for the uniform, the most innovative aspect is the numbering on front. Quinn said it was done for television purposes and tested so well he predicted all teams will follow suit."


First how in the name of Sports Team Management do you put that much effort into a design and still select a logo that at least half the fans hate. Is it really that difficult? The Sabres are going to be a league wide embarassment.

Second, those #s on the fron look good in pictures but how the hell is anyone going to see them while watching a game TV - as the Mighty Quinn suggests?

I'm happy with the colors, cause the Sabres are suppose to be Blue and Gold, but that sperm cell of a slug is just wrong! You know what's funny, other than a tweak here your there the orginial 6 NHL teams colors and jerseys have remand the same thoughout there history!

Whether its the Bills throwbacks or the Sabres throwbacks, they both look SOOOOOOO much better than what the marketing/design guys have come up with to replace them.
