Two Buffalo Sabres players staying at a downtown hotel had their room broken into Thursday, Buffalo police reported.
Forwards Drew Stafford, 20, of Minnesota, and Daniel Paille, 22, of Welland, Ont., both first-round draft choices of the Sabres and in town for the team's training camp, reported to Buffalo police that an individual entered their room at the hotel and stole several items.
