Even last week when Whitner had the INT that could have been a TD there was no doubt that he was a good choice.

They grew up big time today.

LOL then in a week or two when both safetys get lit up, we will be ripping them. I am agreeing they are doing well, but we know how it goes around here

So you're criticizing a Rookie starting his first game in the NFL? But you give Losman a free pass playing his 3rd year in the NFL.

Hypocrit, another crap post from the Crap Master.

This Draft looks like the best in years. Amazing how one draft class can look better than all of TD's combined!!! Every pick might be a starter!!

damn straight they stepped it up

That's why Marv is the man. Everyone questioned him for his picks. Although some rookies have stuck out more than others, they've all contributed and played well on the road.

just incredible actually

when was the last time you saw a team so full of rooks all playing so well?

gotta be the coaching

let's give credit all around...the scouting staff and Marv and Modrak seem to have brought in a crop of winners this year.

I agree that this draft class has been great so far, but I also have to say we have some excellent coaching and playing to people's strengths going on. I remember when everyone was complaining about the resigning of Reed and Denney as representative of failed draft picks. They're starting to look better under this coaching staff than they did before. We obviously needed better coaching and it has completely shown up these last two weeks...

williams and ellison did nothing to hurt the team at all today either.. but simpson and whitner were very good.

i am very happy.

ellison had a very key third and short stop when the bills were still up by only ten

he broke through the line and completely blew up the fullback forcing brown back then spun and tackled him, along with about four other guys. it was a terrific play

Yep, this draft class is looking great so far. Now we just need Youboty to step it up. He missed alot and has alot of catching up to do, but my guess is that Clements is gone next year and we will need him to step it up. Also, McCargo was thought of highly enough that he needs to step it up and harass the QB like Tripplett is doing (even if he doesn't get sacks).

All in all, I can't say there is anything to complain about in this draft class. If Terrance Pennington can step it up and Preston lights it up a notch and takes over for Villarial...we could be a deadly team next year. An Oline that gives JP time, and a strong defense will be an absolute killer!!!

Wouldn't it be awesome if this guy went and found another message board?

Awesome - I didn't even see this post yet, and I was thinking the exact same thing - see my previous post in this thread...

We'll have to see how it plays out through the whole season, but if the rookies keep it up, this could be one of the Bills' all time great draft classes. Michael Huff and Jason Allen not withstanding, it's possible the Bills drafted the two best safeties in the entire draft.

And it's still really early to be passing judgement on McCargo - give him some time to develop - we probably got really lucky that Kyle Williams didn't turn heads the way Ngata and Bunkley did in college.

Kyle williams was a monster at LSU, he just happen to lineup next to a bigger monster named Claude Wroten.

I believe he has 1 tackle in 2 games as a backup.
