Things I heard from Fish fans this week

Just for fun I thought I'd list the things Miami fans said about the Bills this teek to the effect there is no possible way Buffalo could win today. These are approximate as I don't recall exact quotes.

1. It's too hot and humid in Miami this time of year for northern teams.

2. With the number of rookies Buffalo is starting on defense, Culpepper is going to have a field day.

3. Miami is at least a middle of the pack team but Buffalo is nowhere near that.

4. Miami just doesn't lose home games in September.

5. Culpepper may struggle against great teams, but he's terrific against poor teams like Buffalo.

Well, im lurking on a Jets board right now, and similar comments..here are some of the gems...

I swear if we lose to the Bills........

The Dolphins are overrated. They just plain lost it against the Pats..no excuses there. Losman is AWFUL..this is a must win for us.

I think this poster meant "Bills" and not Dolphins, but eh, all teams fans(except for the Bills are dolts!(hee)

I'm marking this game down as a loss. The jets are not playing well enough to beat a below average team right now like the Bills.

Below average? I will admit, I came into this season with VERY low expectations, but judging from the first two games, I would never refer to the Bills as below average. Come on now. I think the passing game needs some work, but the Bills are a lot better than I gave them credit for.

Did you see the game tonight? I;m not questioning your knowledge, and respect your opinion, but the Bills offense is putrid. Well be ready to play.

Hey Bling, I don't personally recall if you said anything or not. Several of you Dolphin fans who post here are good guys. I just know I heard a bunch of stuff stated by Dolphin fans as immutable truth and in the euphoria of the victory it's fun to recall it as part of the celebration. Buffalo fans didn't have a lot to celebrate last year and I want to make the most of the opportunity. It's not personal in the least.

A few years ago I don't know that there were any civil fin fans around. There are a number of you guys around now and I for one am glad to have you. I'm a Bills fan through and through, and I love to hate the Miami Dolphins, but I also think that comes under the heading of good clean fun. As long as we don't take things too seriously, it's all cool.
