well, I don't know what cable company they have in SD, but the cable companies here suck. Comcast has good features but horrible service, Cox has horrible service and a horrible signal, and they both cost significantly more for less channels than DirecTV.

We have Charter in Wisconsin! Great price and great service.

Don't know about SD though.
