13. Buffalo (1-1). Bills defensive end Ryan Denney, all 6-foot-7 and 275 pounds, will be a nightmare for Daunte Culpepper for a long time. Three sacks and several pressures do that.

9. New England (2-0). The Pats are unbeaten, so all should be well. So why did Tom Brady sound like his dog just died when we spoke Sunday night?

Because one of the refs couldn't get his money in on time?

it wasn't pressure from the Billszone barrage that made him rank us that high,is it?

I think by season's end, we'll be ahead of Dallas, and possibly Baltimore if Steve McNair gets hurt.

Baltimore seems to have beaten up on some week teams with no D - TB isn't the same team it's been in years past.

I'm much happier with the Bills' performance than I thought I'd be, but 13 still seems a little high at this point.

That being said, it's good to see that the national media recognizes that we don't completely blow. A few preseason polls had us as dead last in the league- while we still have a lot to prove, I think it's pretty obvious that there are plenty of worse teams at this point.

Further proof that Peter King is the first on and of every bandwagon.
