    Defensively, Levy and Modrak were right all along

    The month of April seems like a long time ago, especially if you're the Buffalo Bills ' front office. During that month's NFL draft, team general manager Marv Levy and his staff took all kinds of heat from unrelenting fans and fellow media members (including this writer) for making selections that were, at the time, colossal head-scratchers.

    However, in September, cooler heads have prevailed. The Bills' G.M. and surrounding brain trust actually look quite intelligent, now that the team has played a couple games in the 2006 regular season.

    The writer was a BASHER of Levy during the offseason and just makes it sound he was one of the mob rather than one trying to get the mob to mob to light the torches by telling lies while selling matches.

    Our Caesars Sportsbook Promo Code 'USBETCZR' offers all new players at Caesars Sportsbook online sportsbook and mobile app up to $1,100 as first-bet insurance.

    The writer, Connor J, Byrne:, is a joke - that is what the J must stand for! Canius's journalism school must be teaching tabloid writing. Even his apology is half hearted;

    Obviously, it's hats off to Buffalo's 81-year-old G.M, Levy, and those helping him make the decisions, mainly Modrak.

    Modrak was there last year and he bashed him relentlessly.

      Everything today is Fantasy Football, Madden 2007, stats, glitz and glamor. Marv, Modrak and DJ know that winning begins with defense. Plain and simple.
      Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

        As Editor of TwoBillsDrive I used to reject his articles but he found someone to approve them before I had a chance. His editor tried a bribe to get to them linked.

          Why? The articles are just as good as any other site.

          There's no such thing as an NFL "expert." Everyone's wrong, so I see no difference between this guy and Peter King.

            Check out this quote by Simpson on his sack:

            "The hole opened up big and my eyes got real big. And I saw the big joker back there, but he fell kind of easily," said Simpson, referring to his first NFL sack.

                He's no better than King at making predictions. However King and other pros have him beat in connections in the NFL. Connor Byrne couldn't get arrested in NFL circles, much less have contacts.

                And as for the Simpson sack, on the play Ellison was coming in but sniffed-out that Culpepper was going to throw it to the RB, so he put himself in the throwing lane, forcing Culpepper to eat it. Great heads-up move by a rookie 6th rounder who had played in less than 2 games to that point.
