No.

I could see the Titans beating the Fish before the Jets beating us at home.

I think Schlereth must have been in La La land when he made that pick or something. Usually, he's pretty respectable IMO.

come on guys you must admit that miami should win this game, the bills on the other hand play the jets a divisional game, its gonna be tough and probably close, so if one of the so called experts picks the jets, shouldn´t be that big of a deal, i´m actually surprised only one of the guys picked the jets

All I know is that Christ Berman picked the Bills to beat Miami before last week's game and the Miami fans were all over him for being a Bills home and a fruitcake. I don't think the Jets or Tennessee will win this week, but you can never say never.

I'm a Dolphins fan, but I honestly thought it was common knowledge, and inside joke if you will, that Berman is a Bills fan. Am I missing something here, or am I the only one that has noticed this over the years????

Yes, he seems to have some affinity for the Bills, but he doesn't pick them every week, and he was right.

I think Golic's pick of the Titans is based on the spread, which is a hefty 11 1/2 points, I believe, which is a lot for a road team to be giving in the NFL. As bad as the Titans are, they have been able to put up a few points and I suppose that he figures that, if the K.Collins and V.Young manage to put up a couple of TDs, it might not be that easy for the Miami offense, which has yet to really get untracked, to put up 4 TDs on the road.

I don't think that the Titans have anywhere near the same kind of defense that Miami has seen in the last two weeks, so I rather expect them to be able to cover the spread, but I can see where someone might say, "Show me that you can put up that many points in a game first" after seeing the Miami offense flounder the last two weeks, even if they are facing the Titans. I don't agree with Golic, but I can understand his thinking and won't dismiss it as being entirely insane.

Schlereth, on the other hand, does not like the Bills, JP Losman or the direction the team is going in. I don't know how much he has seen of the Bills, but I suspect not much. He knows more about the Jets, having seen them in the playoffs not that long ago and I think that he looks at this matchup and sees a veteran QB who is throwing the ball well in Pennington going against a young, inexperienced QB in Losman who didn't break 100 yards last week and figures that the team with the vet has the edge. Maybe so, but I don't think that a lot of observers took the time to break down JP's passing stats in the second half where he went a very efficient 10 of 13 and would have had 2 TD passes if not for Reed's penalty on the screen to Parrish. And, if you've listened to him, Schlereth is not someone who will give JP Losman the benefit of the doubt on anything.

I wasn't trying to be funny or making a joke. I could care less if Berman is a Bills fan or if he's not, I was just 100% honestly surprised that some peeps think he's not a Bills fans. There's a lot of people in the media that try hard to cover obvious likes for teams and players, some hide it quite well, others are a bit obvious, my point was that I thought Berman's like for the Bills was as obvious as Madden's like for Bret Favre's play. Yeesh.

I do think that Berman is a Bills fan, and that enabled him to make the right pick last week. Most likely because he was probably the only guy to actually familiarize himself with the Bills while the rest of the "gurus" simply went along with media hype.

I also don't think Golic is crazy, either. It's a big spread, and Miami's OL is now in worse shape than last week since the guy who's replacing Bennie Anderson wasn't good enough to play the spot when old Fat Bennie was healthy. If the Titans rattle Daunte early, it could be a repeat of last week, because Mularkey likes to pass, and it could easily be a close game.
