Yet another reason why Directv rules the roost!

    Regional major channels.

If you get cable you get your local channels as far as the major networks go. That means that if ABC is covering 2 college games, the show only the one in your region.

However, if you have Directv, and you put in to get your major network feeds, NOT LOCAL, you would get ABC East (New York City), and ABC West (LA).

    Why is this worth anything?

Well, right now I can watch EITHER the Notre Dame vs. Mich St game OR USC vs Arizona. You simply wouldnt get the USC game on cable.

Yep, just verified this on TV Guide listing. If I had Time Warner cable I would ONLY have the ND game.

Thanks to Directv, Im watching the USC game right now.

Check out TV Guide for yourself, put in your zip code, then choose cable. Check what games you get, then choose directv and see exactly what Im talking about.
