Comparing the first 3 games of this season to the 1st 3 of last

Although our record isnt great and is the same as it was at this time last year we look much better. JP showed us that he can drive his team for a score late in a game when it is needed. Maybe not a game winning or tying drive but it was still just as important. He needs to learn how to throw when it is windy in Buffalo but he'll learn.

Our coaches last year didnt take any risks this year they take to many but they will slow down with those because they realize we can't convert on them much. Our coaches last year blitzed a bit too much when we didnt need it which caused us to lose some games where as this year we dont blitz at all when we lose but when we win that's how we do it.

Last year we didnt give the ball to Mcgahee much now we are giving him the ball and he is running wild with it. We have to run the ball more in the endzone hopefully the coaching staff figures it out. One similarity is JP never runs. Although he did run a bit today he needs to run more.

We have improved on our turnover margain considerably with 0 of them in the 1st 2 games and 3 of them in the third that averages out to 1 a game. Teams that win put pressure on the QB and we haven't done that enough. Don't put guys like McCargo and Anderson in put Triplett and Williams in. Play Kiwaukee Thomas not Jabari Greer. Kiwaukee is a pretty good upgrade over Kievin Thomas who actually wasnt that bad but injury prone Greer and Eric King.

One other thing is something I couldn't forget....the offensive line. We have one of the best o-line coaches in the league and many are starting to think we have one of the best up and coming RTs in Jason Peters but Mike Gandy flat out sucks and Tutan Reyes is close to it. Melvin Folwer is playing decently while Chris Villarial is another one who sucks. If you want to improve this line quickly put in Duke Preston and let him learn.

Finally the TEs and the recieving game. Last year we were without Robert Royal, Rosscoe Parrish, Peerless Price, and the new Josh Reed. Now with these guys you will soon be looking at the quickest and the most explosive group of WRs in the NFL. Rosscoe was no fluke Sunday this guy by seasons end could be our #2 putting Josh Reed where he is best as our number 3 and having Peerless Price their to releive everyone along with another new addition in Andre Davis. Today Robert Royal showed me not only the blocking TE he is but the recieving TE making a nice catch or two. When he was blocking our running game was much better than without him.

Overall we have a long way to go but we are deffinetly better off than we were last year at this point.

    Go Bills!
