part of the reason they made the switch was so they could do flex scheduling
The big downfall on ABC's MNF for a while has been bad games late in the season...only way to fix that is to make it so they could switch with a better game from the Sunday afternoon games. Problem is, switching a game from Sunday afternoon to Monday night would create way too many problems. Switching it to Sunday night creates far fewer
The last part of the season, there are no Sunday night games scheduled yet. NBC will grab a game from Fox or CBS each week...Fox and CBS can each protect a game or two...to keep from losing their best games every weekComment

Ralph Wilson hates playing home games on SNF or MNF.
Half the fans travel over 2 hours to the games (Canada, Rochester or Syracuse, Erie PA) and night games means the fans don't get home until 3, 4, 5 AM after stadium traffic is thrown in.
Those games are also extreamly hard for the Bills to try and sell out.Comment

Honestly, a big reason why we don't get MNF, is because of the fact that Ralph doesn't want any Monday night games. He knows that as regional as the Bills are, it is very difficult for people from Rochester, Canada, and Northern PA to drive to the game on Monday night, and drive home in time for work the next day. He has stated this publically before... Sunday Nights are as far as he will go.Comment

1. I think the Bills last MNF game was @ Indianapolis, right around 2000 or 2001 if I remember right.
2. The last Bills MNF home game was in 1994 against Denver, on throwback night. Or at least I think that is correct, I remember leaving school early to go to that game.
3. The Bills don't get alot of primetime games (SNF or MNF) because they have really sucked that last few years. Remember the Bengals of the 90's?Comment
