You people are assuming these are recreational drugs. This could be a HGH/Steroids-related indictment.

That would explain why his bond was only set at $150K. I would think he would have a higher bond if he were dealing in heavy drugs.

also, the law states that possesion of a controlled substance, probably weed in this case, if it is over a certain amount they will be charged with intent to distribute

so it could be that he bought a bunch of weed not to sell but to smoke

I just don't understand if these guys are NFL players, they have to be making relatively good money, at least 6-figures. Why bother with the minor drug dealing chickne scratch that could jeopardize your real meal ticket?

a lot of the guys who get caught with a lot of weed are just in the process of hooking up their friends. a lot of times it's peer pressure or desire to please your old friends, to prove you're still "one of them." i'm not saying it's a good decision, i'm just sayin'.
