Both these teams sucked last year and it make no sense to have them play on monday night. Buffalo has no off 1PM sunday games and had a similar record, so why is this fair?

Waiting until Monday night to play sucks. It's not even worth it.

MNF is no longer regarded as the big game...it's on cable. Think of MNF as the past's SNF...and vice versa

Placing 2 losing teams against eachother seems like watching 2 special ed kids play, it's cute but I can only watch for a few minutes.

well, it's a game that would've been carried on SNF in the past...before they switched...and anyway, with McNabb and Favre as QBs, I don't think they expected 2 losing teams when they made out the schedule

2005 Green Bay Packers. Record: 4 - 12 - 0

2005 Philadelphia Eagles

Record: 6 - 10 - 0

So how do you base the night games, on last years record or guessing?

SNF games were never based on records. It was rare for any team to get eliminated from appearing on ESPN's SNF.
So basically, they base the MNF games on teams in the league

Well if you combine those records, the Bills should of have a game as well. We still might grab a late night game yet.

no idea why we din't get a MNF games this year...we were getting them the past few years. Odds are, they just overlooked us. :idunno: Anyway, the SNF game with flex scheduling is the program every team wants to be on nowadays. :idunno:

Brett Favre = Ratings. If you don't know this by now, then you'll never figure it out.

Is that sitting on his *** or just INT's?

This game is no surprise. Favre v McNabb is always big.
Plus I hate night games for the Bills... they always play on the road and they always suck in those games. Give me 1 PM on Sunday all the time.

Philly is a good team. I think most people could see that, but last year they were victims of an injury bug and the TO dramatics. Plus, they have a huge draw, so of course the NFL/networks love them.
Favre and GB are still regarded as a big draw to the powers that be, even though they suck. I think the league is regarding this season (and each ensuing season) as Favre's fairwell tour, and will try to play that angle a bit too.

The angle, 2 teams well below .500 trying to come back to descent.
