Well all I got back last night from the game after signing on for the Bills Backers Weekend package. Let me tell you, it's worth every penny of the $175 price tag. Here's a rundown of the events:

Saturday: We went to Ralph Wilson stadium at noon to register and get ready for the stadium tour. After registering we all went up into the M&T Clubhouse Suite where we had soda, shrimp scallops, cheese and crackers, fruit, and other munchies. Then we all gathered in the seats and listened to an introduction from the Bills media rep. Chris Brown came down and spoke for a bit about the team and then introduced Marv Levy. Marv talked about himself, how he came to take the GM job, and the team for a bit before opening the floor for questions. He wanted to answer all the questions from everyone who had their hand up but due to time constraints he couldn't. Chris Brown answered some questions after Marv left and then we all split up into groups for the tour. On the tour we stopped at the press box, field house, players locker room, got to go on the field, and saw the weight room. It was really cool to be able to go into the players locker room and see all their equipment laid out for them. Oh yeah, and we did see Andre Reed and Dick Jauron outside heading into the field house. At the end of the tour we all got gift bags that included a Bills Backer hat, seat cushion, pen, yearbook, and the latest issue of Bills digest.

At 5:30 we arrived at the Hyatt Regency where they had an open bar for an hour and more munchies including meatballs, pigs in a blanket, mini-quesadillas, and some other stuff. They had a free raffle where a lot of merchandise was given away with the majority of it being signed. The Vikings players were staying at the Hyatt and when we showed up Pat Williams was hanging out front waiting for a ride or something.

Sunday: The tailgate party started at 10:45 behind the field house. There was a DJ inside the tent and the food included roast beef, sausage and peppers, wings, and some other typical tailgate food. Open bar was at noon so everyone could chug a few brews before going into the game. There was yet another raffle and I wound up winning a signed Willis McGahee hat with a certificate of authenticity.

Of course, 1PM the game started and we were all in section 223 and 224. Don't need to explain what happened at the game but getting the win in the end put the icing on the cake of a great weekend. All in all I felt the management put together a great package for Bills fans. I'm seriously considering doing it again next year and at $175 it can't be beat!
