ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Bills right guard Chris Villarrial (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=3582) sustained what Bills officials said was a high ankle sprain in Buffalo's 17-12 win over the Minnesota Vikings (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=min) on Sunday.

Villarrial

Coach Dick Jauron did not have an update on Villarrial's status following Monday's walk-through practice. The typical recovery time for this type of injury is about three weeks.
Villarrial was injured early in the second quarter on a play that was ultimately wiped out by a Minnesota offsides penalty. On third-and-goal from the Vikings' 3, running back Willis McGahee (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6359) ran behind Villarrial and right tackle Jason Peters (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7122), but was stopped short of the goal line. While falling forward, Villarrial was rolled on by a pile of players and limped back to the huddle.

i bet he's out longer.then again,it depends on the severity.a high ankle sprain takes a while to heal.

Normally I'd be happy about this.. I mean, I'm not glad the guy is hurt, but he's just not a very good player anymore. But if last Sunday was any indication, Duke 'The Turnstile' Preston is a scary proposition... :scared:

Bottom line is our OL depth blows.. Too much youth, not much talent (at least not much realized talent yet)

many are going to get their wish prematurely...looks like JP is going to be running around like a chicken with his head cut off. I still think we'd be better off the way we have been going along...but then again now he's really going to have a chance to let his strenghts shine.

since we know that losman has mobility, jauron may go with having him rollout to buy some time.

the guy seems to get even more accurate when he's on the run....plus he can run for some first downs as long as he's smart enough not to get hit. This could get interesting.

WOW no way Villeareal is hurt that never happens, he has not played a full season since he has been here, at least Preston has some upside only being his second year and all, we will see

Unfortunately you need time to rollout. When JP get's pressured they are coming from everywhere!!!

I'd rather see him in shotgun formation.

Could be the end of his time here in Buff. Preston is a good player who is getting better.
