Buffalo, NY (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Sabres have set their roster for the regular season. Today the team assigned forward Dan Paille to the Rochester Americans.
This means Andrew Peters and Jiri Novotny have made the team as forwards. Nathan Paetsch will serve as the team's seventh defenseman.
Chris Thorburn was claimed off of waivers by the Pittsburgh Penguins. Thorburn had to go through waivers before he could be assigned to Rochester. The Penguins had plenty of time to scout Thorburn in the team's three preseason games against the Sabres.
