Frustrated Hecht out with severely bruised wrist

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Buffalo Sabres left wing Jochen Hecht could miss up to two weeks with a severely bruised right wrist.
Hecht practiced Friday, but was limited to mostly skating.
Hecht jammed his wrist during Buffalo's 3-2 loss to St. Louis on Feb. 11. He missed two games and complained of soreness after a 4-3 overtime loss at Atlanta on Monday.
Hecht, acquired from Edmonton in June, has five goals and 17 points in 33 games this season.
"It's been a frustrating year this year,'' said Hecht. "I hope I can play within a week or two. It bothers me, but at least I know I can play this season.''
