The Denver Broncos cut Chester Mcglockton today. He and Pat Williams would be very formidable in the middle of our defense. I think we should go after him depending on his price. I think he will be signed late in the FA period because he will be searching for big money at first and then will drop his price and have a incentive based contract. Is he worth taking the risk on?

Your crazy if you think you are going to get Chester for the veteran minimum. He will easily get a million a year or better.

The Broncos had the best run defense in the league. I'd like a piece of that here.

edited so Tatonka looks like he doctored my quote :D

take a look at his stats.. this guy is the model of consistency.. for his whole 12 year career.. he was the leading tackler on the number one run defense last year.. i would take him and a heartbeat, and he would actually free pat williams of double teams almost completely.... i think the addition of this guy could be astounding, personally.

This would be one of those 1+1=3 situations...

PW would be helped immensely, as would the D, as McGlockton would add more than just his body to the performance of the D, because Big Pat could move over to UT…

If he gets to camp in Rochester,

I hope he doesn't play like Uncle Fester

My grandpa's a Raiders fan,

he said Chester can't open a can. (Whoop ass)

Chester McGlockton used to be terrible at jumping offsides, but if he's good enough to where he'll compensate for the offsides penalties then bring him in.
