a win is a win, plain and simple......... the other alternative would be sudden death ot, instead of that generic 5 minutes like in the current format, or pre-shootout.......
honestly i like the shootout, it brings excitement, and a finite ending.... u can have the standard 3 rounds....... or it can go on til someone cracks (5 rounds min in the AHL/ECHL)
