There is going to be a prospect available next April who may be unlike anything the NFL Draft has ever seen and his name is Amobi Okoye. What makes the defensive tackle from Louisville such an oddity is that after immigrating from Nigeria at the age of 12 Okoye actually tested into the ninth grade, which allowed him to graduate from high school at the age of 15. Okoye then became the youngest player in college football when he played for the Cardinals as a 16-year-old true freshman in 2003. After playing four years at the Division I level Okoye will still only be 20-years-old as a rookie in the NFL next season. That could very well be unprecedented.

On the field Okoye is having an outstanding senior season, already notching 4 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks in just four games, which are already both career highs. What some team will be getting is a player with four years of experience against top competition yet is still essentially just a true sophomore in terms of physical development, which means there is a lot of potential there. Already an extremely strong player, a pro strength coach will be able to mold Okoye's body and that along with his work ethic and desire to improve make for an intriguing package. His stock is already on the rise and with a weak crop of senior defensive tackles it's hard to say what the ceiling is in terms of his draft position but as of now it's safe to say that he's already a Day One pick. It will be fun to watch and see how the NFL handles this very unique situation.

How cool is this? Now I wanna draft him even more!!!!
