ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Bills rookie defensive tackle John McCargo is out indefinitely after surgery Monday to repair a broken left foot.
Coach Dick Jauron said it's not clear how much time the first-round draft pick will miss, adding he first wanted to consult with McCargo and the team's training staff.
Jauron spoke before the team announced the extent of McCargo's injury on its website.
McCargo was hurt in the fourth quarter of Buffalo's 40-7 loss at Chicago on Sunday. It's not clear on which play he was hurt, but McCargo was spotted on crutches while leaving the locker-room.
It's the same foot McCargo broke as a junior at North Carolina State last season, an injury that forced him to miss five games.

the good news: whoever we find to replace him only has to make up 1.6 tackles a game.

Let's bring Mike Williams back, he should be fat enough now that if he justs falls down & sticks his arms out it may trip the runner, lol.

that's actually not a bad idea. All he'd have to do is take up space on the field.

Of course, he'll be out of breath after 4 plays and injured after 10.

We can pay him per play this time. Instead of $100,000 per play, we'll make it in donuts. It will get him up early to with time to make the donuts ringing in his head.

we can have Roscoe Parrish ride on his shoulders with a donut hanging off a stick and he can use it to guide Williams to the ballcarrier.
