    Bills sign OT Randy Hand

I know he went undrafted but he was a guy I liked alot from Florida. Hes strictly a RT type but he can play pretty well. Hes a solid bigger RT type, not fat, but not that quick either.

This is a good signing. This guy has some talent.

We released C.J. Leak from the PS to sign Hand. Who knows down the line with PSers?
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

I think we are looking at improving depth.

It doesnt cost us much, it does improve depth, so why the hell not.

He might turn out to be a solid backup or even develop into the next Jason Peters at RT.

Its a low cost deal, why not.

what made this a priority over another DT to fill in with the rotation til McCargo recovers?

              It was a PS signing.

From what i heard the Leak was a pretty weird signing for us, so i am glad we are trying to improve our depth

He was in camp with the Pats and didn't really get much playing time in the preseason. Big kid, not a great athlete. One of several Florida guys the Pats brought in because of Belichick's relationship with Urban Meyer. Needs to get stronger so he can be more of a power player, as he isn't a great pass protector.

I know he had a workout with the Dolphins after the Pats cut him.

Good signing has far as depth where depth is needed. Having 3 TEs on the active roster and 2 on the practice squad doesn't make much sense. Especially, given the fact that you TEs aren't used much, other than blocking. We could also use another DT.

It's a move that in the granbd scheme of things will probably turn out to be meaningless, but hey, you never know. I'll go back to my nap now.

BTW I heard it on WGR too.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

I don't think I like a guy with a name like Randy Hand. I guess masturbation is not something that's supposed to be kinky.

Well, at least his name isn't Horny Goat.
