Washington is getting involved in the fates of small-market National Football League teams. Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) says he's writing letters to senators who also represent small market NFL teams. Schumer says he's doing so, after talking with Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson. Schumer says Wilson called him, complaining the league's new collective bargaining agreement could shortchange teams like the Bills, if revenue sharing formulas are reworked.
