This question has been on my mind for a few days. Would you trade Losman Spikes and Clements for a top flight QB at the end of the season? Hypothetically speaking of course. It's a blockbuster trade for sure. Would you do it?
If there was a top flight QB available, sure. You're going to lost these three regardless though which doesn't make it very realisitic.

I would at least consider it. The QB in question would have to be on the younger side of 30 though. Daunte Culpepper is not a top flight QB by the way.

Enough with the idiotic threads..... Clements is a UFA at the end of the year and is gone for nothing...

Losman and Spikes for Schaub and Atlanta's 1st round pick would be a steal.

Schaub is the next Trent Dilfer, a guy who can play if he has a great team around him. Wait then he the next Warner, Garcia, Eli, hell every QB, even Losman

And a top flight qb would be able to do what with our current OLine?

That's why it's hypothetical. Ok, let's replace Clements with Mgee. Would you do it?

NO, unless we were getting Schaub, 1st round pick and Hall from Atlanta.

You're thinking in fantasy terms. Real teams don't.

What GM in there right mind would trade a "top flight" QB for a guy with no contract, a guy with one leg and an unproven QB?
Who comes up with this ****?

If it got us Peyton Manning and the Colts OL, you'd have yourself a deal.

They might. We might have to throw in a 7th round pick to sweeten the deal though.
