    Levy blew the Clements situation.

Love what Marv has done but he really screwed the pooch on Nate.

Nate is getting 7 million dollars and he can't be franchised. He's playing like a guy who has 7 million in his pocket for a team that has no control over his future. And people are wondering why he is sucking so bad.

The year comes to an end, we get nothing, and had to watch him play like **** all year.

I think Marv might want to renig on his commitment to Nate by saying "you're playing like **** so I'm pulling your deal".

So how does that explain how bad he was last year in a contract year. He is not what he used to be. It seems to me like he has lost a step. Marv will not pull his deal, we'll ket him walk, and I cannot say I'm disappointed. Adios Nate.

I'm not sure he blew it. No one knew Nate would play this badly so far.

With so many needs on the team upon arriving and an excess of cap $$ to spend, it was the right thing to do at the time.

He'll walk after this season and the $$ can be used elsewhere. That $$ can pay for 2-3 starters.

Nate was better a few years ago when the Bills had a pass rush and D-Line.

If he isn't playing well why would you want to franchise him anyways? Do you think we'll get anything for him if we franchise him? Let him go if he wants to go somewhere else. he isn't playing well and yet you want to be able to franchise him?

I just don't think Nate wants to be here and he is letting his play show. He know's that some dumbass GM will give him $35 mil next year no matter how bad he plays here. All he wants to do is stay healthy.

Hey Nate, eat a dick on your way out!

Sorry, if he wants the $$ he's gonna have to play better than that. He has to have a problowl year knowing that he isn't gonna get franchised next year. He'll be lucky to get top 10 $$ with the way he's playing.

He's still worth a pick. They are still saying he will get big bucks after this year. CB's are hard to come by.

BINGO. He still gets paid, no-matter-what, and we get nothing but his crappy performance, for 7 million, this year.

Just-a-sports fan, does this explain it for you.

what is a franchised players salaray? Top 5? Who's gonna want to pay him top five and a pick based on the way he's playing?

He isn't guaranteed top 5 in a new deal so that's irrelevant.

They are not going to to pay him on what he did this year on a defense with no pass rush and 4 rookies. They are going to pay him because they know he can play when he wants to. he wants to win, I can't blame him for that, but he is quitting on us.

which is why no one will want to trade for him if we tag him next year. If that happens we're stuck with an expensive underachieving cb all over again.
