Although some in the Jets organization fear his career is over, RB Curtis Martin is expected to attempt a return to practice as early as next week, when he's eligible to come off the physically unable to perform list, according to two people with knowledge of Martin's rehab.

It's a valiant effort, but i think his career is over, he's the man, but it may be too much for him. Thanks for the memories CMart.

Yeah, that dude is done. He had a good run but that season he led in rushing, don't remember if it was last year or the year before, was his last hurrah. I can see him in the Hall of Fame eventually.

i wouldn't quite say curtis is done yet........ give him a few weeks and he will assess from then...... holmes..... i just dont see him even trying to come back.

if both players retire, it is a shame, that they cant leave on their own terms....
