I was going to ask whos the 1st, but I think it would be resoundingly Peyton Manning. If you disagree with #1, feel free to attack that claim as well.

Whos #2?

My honest opinion is Chad Johnson, WR. Its a bit remote, but I think you look at any other top WR and they either have age issues or character issues. You look at other QB's (outside of Peyton) and your looking at guys who have had ups/downs or again are pretty old. You look at RB's and you must look at the question I said right now. LT isnt the same since Brees left, Alexnader is hurt.

But I look at a guy like Chad Johnson who is so young, so good, and will only get better. He gets it done each and every week. Hes a disgusting player as far as talent. And, although he is animated, he hasnt been a jerk.

Whos your #1 and #2?

If the category is right now, Donovan McNabb and Julius Peppers

Hmmmm, McNabb has been hot lately. Peppers is a young rising star for sure. Has he put up the stats though?

I think in football it's really difficult to call anyone the best player because of all the different positions and different exposure those players get.

Somewhere in the league, there could be a LT who pancakes two guys on every play, but unless you follow that team you wouldn't even know his name. But a QB who gets 2 touchdowns or a CB who gets one INT will be all over Sportscenter.

Cannot disagree. But, it DOES feel about fantasy football to me.
