ORCHARD PARK — Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild, who tutored under famed coach Mike Martz in college and in the NFL, isn't interested in copying his mentor.
He hasn't established the "Greatest Show on Snow" in Buffalo after the "Greatest Show on Turf" in St. Louis. Fairchild believes in balance when it comes to moving the football, while Martz, who has a Super Bowl ring, likes to throw it. And throw it some more. "We're not out to try and do that here, we're out to be balanced," Fairchild said after practice on Wednesday. "I think we have a good cast here, I just think it'll take time and we have to keep working."
