Buffalo (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/teams/bills/) (2-3) at Detroit (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/teams/lions/) (0-5)
Rod Marinelli deserves better than 0-5. This is the week he gets off the schneid. It's about time the running game (59.6 yards a game, which is what most teams average in a half) starts taking some pressure off quarterback Jon Kitna.
Detroit 24, Buffalo 20

how does the running game start to take pressure off of Kitna with 60% of the starting o-line out of the game? Is he saying that the Bills' Defense is that bad. I dont think so.

Yeah, minus 3 offensive linemen and averaging approx. 59 yards per game and the Bills won't even think about sitting on their running game to force Kitna into 3rd and long ALL DAY! Nice "anal"ysis, Peter King. By the way, what does Dick Jauron deserve this week? Another stupid comment about a football game!

Shirley Temple hates the Bills and their fans. It's expected she'd predict against us every week.

Who cares about her? She's lost all respectability and credibility in my book when she wouldn't own up to her Shirley Temple statement.

I'm going to predict she loses her NBC gig after this season.

let's bombared him with more emails if we beat the lions. Granted that he may be right, with the OL injuries Detroit has, how can anyone make an EDUCATED prediction that they can easily improve on their 56 yards/game? Granted our DL isn't stopping anyone, their injuries should offset that. I think he's making those assanine predictions because of the predeiction early on. He's trying to ignore the emails calling him Shirley temple.

Is the REAL Shirley Temple still alive? She'd make a nice upgrade over at CNNSI. Pecker Queen is awesome. It is reaffirming to read his work and realize that we all know a hell of a lot more than someone who gets paid to do this ****.

He also picked Miami to score 33 points, so I'm not particularly worried about his predictions.

This will be a tough game though. A winless, desperate team playing at home can always pose problems.

Almost everyone in the media is picking the Lions. Marinelli is loved by everyone in the media and the idea of him being 0-6 is impossible!!

I thought we were calling her shirley because he looked like her...what statement did he make? (sorry, I missed it)

Mr. Miyagi

Before the season began he went on a radio show and said the Bills would start the season 0-2 (@NE, @MIA) or his name was Shirley Temple.

Since then we went 1-1 and wrote tons of emails to his SI.com column calling him out to own up to the claim, and he just blew us all off and too chicken to mention it again.

How is the running game going to get off the ground with both Jones and Bryson questionable and only 2 starting offensive lineman? King needs to do a little more homework and a little less jawing. He's a disgrace to his profession.
