Lions defense tackles poor Bills offense

The Lions host 2-3 Buffalo on Sunday at Ford Field. They're off to their worst start since they were 0-12 in 2001, Matt Millen's first year in charge.

The Bills' offense ranks 30th in the 32-team NFL. It's going up against the Lions' 28th-ranked defense.
30th sucks. This is a prime game for the offense to get healthy.

The offense is better then their ranking. The Bills just need to stick to the running game and get Thomas in the rotation to spell McGahee a bit.

30th? Well lets see we have been at Chicago and at NE. That doesn't help your offensive stats too much.

Not to mention the Vikes D doesn't exactly suck either.

Don't you just love crap like this? Let's see, the Bills have played the Vikes, Patriots, Dolphins, and Bears. Everyone is picking the Lions. I hope the Bills kick their butts this weekend!!

Maybe Jauron will do the unMularkey thing of running the ball, canning the trick plays, and getting McGahee and the TEs more involved in the passing game.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                28th in 1st down. PG

                29th in Passing yards PG

3rd to last in TD passes

20 teams have played 5 games. The Bills are 20th in passing yards.

Its time for the offense to step things up.

Maybe if we had a baby-butt soft schedule like Chicago our offense would be a little higher up.

Re: Lions defense tackles poor Bills offense

Between facing three strong defensive teams and trying to spoon feed a young and inexperienced starting QB, I don't wonder that the Bills offense is ranked 30th. It may not get out of the bottom third in the league this season, but it is potentially better than the stats will show, and it is going to get better. As Losman gets more comfortable, and as the coaching staff getss more comfortable with him, he will have more opportunity to make plays. Other than that it's just a matter of the whole offense executing with more consistency and fewer mistakes (dropped passes, false start penalties, missed blocking assignments etc. ad nauseum). The Bears intimidatecd the Bills, and the number of mistakes shot through the roof. I will be very surprised and disappointed if they don't drop in number significantly against the Lions.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

For the OneGabillionth time, if we had any resemblence of an effective O-line, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

this would look great in the locker room.
