Vincent can end it where he started |
It's the big question, with the answer coming soon enough. The Buffalo Bills released Vincent on Oct. 12, making the former five-time Pro-Bowl selection an unrestricted free agent, free to sign with any team.
Just a hunch, but look for the 35-year-old Vincent to wind up back in the AFC East, a division he knows from the four seasons he spent in Miami and the two-plus years he spent in Buffalo. Think about it. The New England Patriots recently worked out three safeties -- Lance Schulters, Keion Carpenter and Brent Alexander. Vincent would be considered an upgrade over any of them. The Miami Dolphins have been calling around the league, seeking help at safety, and there aren't any better solutions than the player and person the franchise already knows well. |
