Isn't he a defensive end? I know he had a solid rookie year, but since then he'd had problems with the rams coaching staff.

I was dissapointed when the rams drafted him because supposedly our Gm at that time, TD, wanted to draft him.

Right now our main concern is stopping the run. We need a booger.

I know Tony.

I coached against him in high school. He played at a local rival. Phenomenal athlete for his size. He was a QB and Safety in HS and was a really good basketball player. He originally went to Georgia Tech but only played a couple years due to failing grades. He made some bad decisions (nothing earth-shattering) that really hurt his collegiate career.

But I give him credit. He worked his ass off while he was away from the game and still got himself drafted.

He was Leonard Little's backup his first season, then started most of last year at DE. He fell out of favor with the new coaching staff when he missed practice without letting anyone know earlier this season.

He'd help. But he's not a run-stuffer.

Yeah, I thought he'd be more of a pass rusher.

He was considered a sleeper type pick when he was drafted. Off the field issues and an "atypical" college background cause his draft stock to slip, but it was obvious he had talent. Strictly a pass rushing defensive end. He would easily be an upgrade from Eric Powell, and would get playing time. I think Schobel is pretty much the only guy getting snaps at RDE. With Hargrove, there would be some sort of rotation set up.
