Fred McCrary? Should we go after him?

San Diego cut him today because of cap reasons. He is a damn good blocker and helped Tomlinson gain over 1,600 yards. I think he might be a good guy to check out. Even if it means...cutting Larry Centers...What do you all think?

Lorenzo Neal is also a free agent too. Maybe we could look at him too.

i thnk they have alot of confidence in the blocking of crosby.. dont forget, he got TH 1400 yards this year... and ferguson on the practice squad was a beast at vtech (my alum).. he can catch and is fast as hell. i think he will be on the roster this year.. i dont think we need to waste money on FB.. imho.. just cutcenters.

If we go after him (McCrary) we might jeopardize the cap room we've got to keep Sullivan, and M. Price (I heard both of their contracts expired after this last season). The way I look at it, if it would be worth it to lose some depth to bring him in then do so, but if he's not that good, keep the depth - we've already got a solid (and predominantly young) line that's only going to get better.
