Well? I'll trade a crappy overpaid corner for some passing pressure anyday!! Let Donte go out there and do his thing. Here's the skinny (LOL) about the Big Booger!

More importantly, McFarland can stop the run also. If this rumor, were true. It would improve our defense immensely. Just plug Youboty in there, he couldnt do much worse than Nate "I have no heart" Clements.

It would be great to get SOMETHING for Nate. And since we're not exactly a playoff team, it won't hurt to throw Youboty into the fire and let him learn on the job like Whitner, Simpson and Williams are doing.

Sam Adams is way over the hill. Pat on the other hand, should have been kept. Thank Donahoe and Mularkey for that one.

Clements will once again be a shut-down corner for whatever team he ends up with...I'd bank on that.

I'd make the trade, just because I'd like to see us get SOMETHING in return for Nate bolting.

McFarland is a heck of a player, and the Bills would have him tied up through 2008. He does make pretty good money ($4.5M this year, $5.5M in 2007, $6.85M in 2008).

He is a heck of a player, though, and I'm curious why Tampa would consider trading him. He has struggled with some injuries in recent years, but is still only 29. I guess the cap is a consideration, but the cap is going to be very high next year so it shouldn't be a problem.

I think that Nate IS on the block, however, I believe that the team(s) interested are going to be contenders! The New York Giants come to mind... they were critizied early on for their secondary, and Nate Clements would help them in their push! The catch is that the trading team MUST get Nate to sign a long term deal as a stipulation of the trade. The dynamics of doing a mega-deal for Nate at midseason are quarrelsome, at best!! I'd throw Ashton Youboty into the mix at nickel to see what he's got!

He wants to serve out his 4 game drug suspension where there is a Casino dummy. :D

If true, at least Marv is willing to do what it takes to upgrade the team. Thats the big step that we have been missing.

Im still holding back from rejoicing. I cant see why we are hanging on to 11 mil in cap coin for a team this mediocre. We didnt do enough last offseason.
