what the ****............

We needed a DT.. Tampa needed a corner.. we shoulda made this happen..

This dude can flat out PLAY at DT and he woulda made Tripplett a lot more useful.. His price tag must be too high for Wilson

This is how the negotiations went on the Bills' side:

Marv: "What's this button for?"
Tom: "That's for sending."
Marv: "Why does it keep beeping?"
Tom: "The deadline's in 5 minutes."
Marv: "Can't I just use a plain old dial phone?"

If you were Tampa- what would you want--- an overpriced CB who wants 7 million or a 2nd rounder?

I'd take the 2nd rounder. The pick will play 3-5 years minimum for the Bucs- not 10 games

I think what pat meant was the price of a 2nd rounder was too high.

Can someone please explain to me why everyone thinks McFarland is the second coming? Yeah i wouldnt mind seeing him here but geez guys take it easy, he isnt THAT good. Granted an upgrade from what we have, but everyones acting like we missed out on the best DT in the league

I agree the question is, was booger worth a 2nd? Many ways to look at that. From the Bills standpoint....no. Too many needs at this point. Now if we were like the colts, then yes.

Who knows what LT might be there that the 2nd we lost could have been packaged to help us trade up and get?

Bottom line, we will have to wait till this offseason to address our needs. They are more clear cut than ever now, the cap room will be there. The questions are 1) will ralph have and spend the SB money needed 2) will marv not only go after higher profile/ better and more expensive FA's and 3) can he and modrak pick the right guys and not just 'names'?

I think the Bills should go back on their word and tag Nate next year and trade him before the draft since they failed to trade him this year. I really don't see any point in keeping him around anymore. All he is going to do is be a cancer behind the scenes nd screw with the young guys heads.

Agreed. Screw this 'We gave him our word' That doesn't fly in court and when Nate appeals it won't fly there either.

You know, I wish there could be loyalty between management and player but it just isn't possible. I know Levy made the deal with him but in my opinion, Nate hasn't exactly lived up to his side of the deal. Yeah he went right into camp and all but the Bills expected him to play like a $7m player, not a 2nd string Pop Warner superstar.
