New England Patriots cornerback Ben Kelly told a jury Wednesday that he wasn't drunk when his sports utility vehicle rolled into a parked police cruiser early one rainy morning two years ago.
Kelly testified that he had consumed two glasses of Seagrams and Coke on July 4, 2001, before driving onto the Palmetto Expressway and getting lost at about 6 a.m.
He said he spotted an officer working an accident and pulled up behind the police cruiser to ask for directions.
