All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.

Did he get in any practice time with the team this week? Enough to play?
We desperately need more pressure on the QB and I'm hoping this guy can do it from the DE spot opposite Schobel, although the depth chart has him as Schobel's back-up. WTF?
Why wouldn't he be? Kelsay/Denney are locked at one end and Schobel at other with no backup. Who would you expect him to backup. Kelsay? Did you expect him to be named starter?

I was hoping. Kelsay/Denney are inconsistent at best. And I hope we didn't give up a 5th round draft pick for a guy to ride the pine.
There isn't much to learn at the DE position. It's universal. When the QB drops back, go after him. When they run, contain the outside. That's pretty much it.

A fifth round pick is backup material for cost. If you were expecting a starter you were expecting too much. Kelsay/Denney are not that bad - it is the middle which is weak juist like it was week last year.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to challenge Kelsay and Denney. These guys have been great all season.

Kelsay and Denney are getting pressure Occasionaly, Schobel is the only one getting consistent pressure on QBs. I think Hargrove will eventually start at LDE. I hope so anyway, it will mean that he is outperforming Kelsay and Denney which is what we need.
He is a Bannan type-player able to play DE and DT; a hybrid type of player you could say. Since the Bills defense is built on speed they need all of the big guys who can move as they can.
