How much other stuff do you have installed on it? Have you shut down other processes?

IM Running RC1 for now, just doing it for fun basically, spent a few hours abusing the Windows Media Center Functions with my Xbox 360... lol..

I'm running the HP dv6000 with the Turion 64 x2 and 1G of Ram. No worries about Vista here. Works ok.

i know i need to get more memory its just a matter of figuring out whether or not its something i can put in my laptop myself or not
