The roughing penalty cost at least 4 points, if not 7--stupid. And this from the veterans who are supposed to know better! You're right. The Pats don't have the greatest talent, but they have players who are willing to listen to their coaches and buy into what they are trying to do. The Bills have had a lot of players who think they are better than they are and believe that they know more than the coaches or aren't willing to listen to their coaches for some other reason. At some point, it does come down to the players--they play the game, the coaches don't.

Agreed...the OL messed up, but HE HAS TO HOLD ON TO THE BALL. If he can't do it, then maybe you give a swift kick in the ass and put him on the bench for a series or two. He has to become more aware of holding on to the ball...no excuses.

I know that football players aren't rocket scientists, but, if they don't get it by the seventh game of the season, it's time to try a different method to get the lesson across.
