Can someone make the madness stop?

I know I don't post much cause I see more bickering about our respective opinions about the Bils than showing some support of this football club. Being away from the Buffalo area, this is really the only site where I can somewhat feel at home when it comes to our Bills. I don't think that any other Bills site can hold a candle to this one and for that I say thank you.
Let me ask those who are constantly bashing Marv, Dick, JP, and whomever else in the Bills organization. What is it that would truly make you happy? First some say that we dont want a HC with no experience and then they say they don't want a retread. Who is left after that? Don't get me wrong ,I am not happy with this team as it is right now but come on, bashing Dick Jauron and Marv at this point is crazy, they did not draft most of this team, they did not pick up most of the FA's on this team. They simply were placed in a situation where they needed to play with the hand they were dealt. I truly feel that this administration has 3 seasons to get it right and at least show signs of improvement. The unfortunate part of it is, if they dont, then we go back to rebuilding mode yet again and we will be in this never ending loop of mediocrity.
In regards to Jauron, take a guess at whose records these are

    Coach #1
    6-10
    7-9
    7-9
11-5 (1 playoff win and 1 playoff loss)
    5-11
    5-11

    Coach #2
    6-10
    5-11
    13-3 (1 playoff loss)
    4-12
    7-9
    1-4

Coach #1 is Belichick. The last 5-11 was his first year with NE. Coach #2 is Jauron. Ask yourself, did NE fans scream to fire Belichick in his first year? They probably did, but look what patience and perseverence got them. Who is to say that cannot happen here. Give Marv and Dick time and just maybe they can get the job done. Marv worked with Polian, he knows the ropes. Jauron, to the best of my knowledge ,never really had too much of a supporting cast in the front office. Kind of like Belichick had in Cleveland.
In closing, I think we will see major changes in 2008, Marv got defensive in the draft this year and I believe he will possibly do it again in 2007 pending on JP's performance the rest of the year providing we dont go with a vested veteran at QB in free agency. Let's continue to support this team regardless of win loss and if you get bummed out, do what I do...start feeling good about the Sabres, cause they way they look, we just may have our first NHL championship when all is said and done! GO BILLS!!!!!

        No you support them.
It's you that suffers from the mental disorder of feeling an obligation to support a footbal team, no matter what a joke they are, on the sole basis that they are local.
I know that misery likes company but I dont see any reason to turn that mental disorder into a group psychosis.

Whilst I agree with the evidence you have presented I think there is a major difference.

After floping as a Head Coach, Bill then went back to being a stellar Defensive Co-ordinator and then got a chance again. He was assistant Head Coach/Def Coordinator when the Pats went to the Bowl in 1996 and continued to be stellar until becoming HC again.

With DJ, I think he is a thoroughly decent man, but having been knocked off the top perch hasn't really looked as if he was ready to climb all the way back. If we'd brought him in assistant Head Coach/Def Coordinator that would have been good. But I think he was over promoted.

Also DJ will always been in Marv's shadow as his appointment. I think Bill got there entirely on merit which allow him to impose his ideas as HC, a lesson he learnt from his time at the Browns and through working with Parcells.

You do wonder who is really pulling the strings?

This post is just more grasping at straws and nothing more.

            Just more blind optomism.

Can everyone stop with the Billy B comparisons? Bill was breaking down BYU Coaches film with his dad at age 10. there is no comparison
