on the Sabres 2/14, and the League accepted soon thereafter.

The details of the deal are being ironed out, but it looks like everything's full steam ahead as far as Golisano's ownership of the Sabres.

as happy as i am to hear about this, i can't let myself get my hopes up. i got all excited when hamister came into the picture a few months ago, but that fell through. hopefully golisano has the balls to put up the money to get it done.
