    Sabres using a "rotational pinch"

I am going to make a new term here "rotational pinch". What that means is the D come up on their side when we are on offense and the far forwards swing back up top to cover the spot. It happens on both sides of the ice so whichever d-man goes the outer forward compensates to defend up top and give coverage.

The Sabres also use there forwards deep in their zone to pull in tight to the red line and swing the other forwards really wide or up the middle so the forwards technically pinch back on the D side to build a better break out.
