Sounds like TD is gonna sit tight and wait for "deals" in this free agency year...

According to the D&C, http://www.rochesterdandc.com/sports...1_bills.shtml, Donahoe seems to be content to wait out the initial flurry and see which gems are left after it. A wise albeit risky move if it doesn't leave us high & dry.

"Both the Bills and Price will be experiencing a sense of urgency to get something done in the next two weeks. If a franchise player signs between March 15 and July 15, the tag stays with that player for the length of his contract.

Donahoe made it clear he’d like to keep the tag for future use, meaning it’s possible Price could be in limbo until the summer.
    "

Sounds like this $5M may be tied up until well past the time to take advantage of the best deals out there.

Kendrick Office wasn't tendered, Ahanotu was.

It sounds that more and more our D isn't going to be more than marginally better than it was this past year. Depending upon which players tendered accept, we'll know more about our cap situation then.

Given this, there will be no signing of Spikes or any other marquee LBs, DEs, or DTs. So all this talk is simply that, talk.
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

    Then let's go to Disneyworld!

    GO BILLS!!!

Wys, give it a break. You are getting super critical of the team even before the FA period has started. Last year TD said the same thing. Then we signed Fletcher just a week into free agency.

If we get to the end of March or all the marquee players are gone then you can complain, but not now.

Also this article was written before we knew Price had the intention of signing the offer. TD is probably thinking differently now.

We don't know this to be a fact. That statement is speculation, simply that, speculation.

Why don't we wait and see before we come up with conclusions?

Lets see how this plays out before we get our panties in a bunch here. If Free agency comes and goes and we don't get any talent then we can have a problem..
